Milwaukee Expo Next Weekend

If you need to replace that hard to find custom bait you lost, or want to scoop up some new musky gear, the Milwaukee Muskie Expo is the place to be next weekend (Feb. 14-16).
We already highlighted many of the show colors and new musky schtuff in our new product showcase issue.
But here’s a few others that caught our attention that we expect to see in Milwaukee.
We’re lovin’ the way this Perfect Perch Quad Dawg pops, especially those eyes! 👀
How ‘bout these golden beauties from Chaos Tackle? Carp might not be the sexiest name, but the color sure is. 😍
While we did highlight the new 9” Slammer Minnow bait in our new product showcase, this new video they just dropped shows how sweet the action is being twitched or trolled. #NeedOne
That’s just a small sample of what you’ll find at the expo. We'll have boots on the ground all weekend. Josh Borovsky will be hangin’ out in the seminar hall before and after most of the presentations when he’s not holding down the fort at the Angling Revolution Booth.

Muskies On The Shield
Speaking of Musky Insider PRO instructors, we’ve had two amazing Live Q&A sessions with the legendary Dick Pearson.
Dick had us convinced that his last appearance was his swan song and he was going back into hiding like Punxsutawney Phil after seeing his shadow on Groundhog Day.
But, we recently received some big news (and on Groundhog Day no less). 😂
Dick Pearson’s sought after book, Muskies On The Shield, is now available for sale again at Thorne Brothers. (Quantities are limited.)
The book is considered by many to be the bible on Canadian musky fishing. In even more surprising fashion, we learned that Dick decided to get the old DVD version of Muskies On The Shield (the video) digitized. Somehow, Doug Wegner convinced Dick to broadcast the video on his YouTube channel free for us all to enjoy. We’ll give Doug a tip of the cap for pulling that off. You can check it out right here.
We’re also hopin’ that maybe this reemergence of “Professor Pearson” means we can convince him to come back for one more Insider PRO session.
Mike is the big fish GOAT with thousands of muskies over 50 inches and hundreds of muskies over 55 inches to his credit. (And no that is not a typo or an exaggeration!)

Been a while since we've held a good old fashioned GIF parade - let's do it! This one features some good ol’ fashioned “Eats.”
We love how this gal just moseys up and gulps this new Kramer Bros twitch bait. Almost like it’s in slo-mo, but it isn’t.
Ayden Froeschle gets this one tuned up before it comes in for the ultra quick strike.
Slumpbust Outdoors captured this vicious strike outta nowhere on a musky fly.
Here’s another sudden attack from Today’s Angler and it’s a good one!
This sporty model filmed by Full Spectrum Outdoors tried to shake and bake its way off after a wicked vertical strike on an Ultra Dawg.
Last but not least, this one comes unglued for a Cannonball Jr. boatside by the crew at Mayhem’s 10,000 Casts. Look at how locked this fish is! 👀

#1 – Greg Nimmer seems to regularly create something unique for us, and this time he made some characters into lures. We're really diggin’ that batman!
#2 – Check out acrylic painting on a 7 foot rock at the Vermillion Bay town dock in Ontario. It was painted by Charles Weiss a couple years ago to celebrate two giant muskies caught at Eagle Lake in 1939 and 1940. Super cool for Charles to share this with everyone!

Chris Bishop’s first ever musky was a goliath Green Bay 51”! Way to kick things off Chris!
We love it when the ‘skies stay in the water. Josh Trammell of Mad River Outfitters shows us a sweet pic is still possible while keepin’ ‘em wet.
Joel Morrow ended his season on the right note when this gal crushed his Double Dawg in the last bit of daylight.
Check out this plus-sized water wolf that Mac Mulligan bagged on Lake of the Woods. His expression says it all! 😮
